Job Title: Engineering Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineering Learning Coach to join our team at Barclay Meade. As an Engineering Instructor, you will play a vital role in guiding and inspiring apprentices through their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality classroom and workshop-based learning to ensure apprentices develop the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices, providing timely support and guidance to ensure they meet their learning objectives.
  • Embed Maths and English skills into teaching sessions to enhance apprentices' overall development.
  • Collaborate with employers to ensure practical skills are reinforced and aligned with industry standards.
  • Motivate learners and address any barriers to success, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and produce timely reports based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
  • Relevant industry experience and qualifications (minimum Level 3).
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths, English, and ICT (or willingness to obtain).
  • Teaching qualifications (Cert Ed/CTTLS/DTTLS).
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
