Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team at Driver Hire Southampton. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering steel products to various locations across the South Coast area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 2 vehicle, as well as 7.5T and Van when required
  • Complete deliveries of steel products to customers across the South Coast area
  • Work in the warehouse (picking & packing, loading & unloading, stock checking etc) when required
  • Strap steel products for transportation
  • Physically lift heavy loads where necessary

Requirements:

  • Full UK Class 2 licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • A minimum of 1 year experience driving Class 2 vehicles
  • Strapping experience
  • Physically fit and happy to heavy lift where necessary
  • Flexible to work where required
  • Own transport to commute to and from work
  • Fantastic customer service skills
