Paediatric Audiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our paediatric audiology team, you will be responsible for conducting behavioural hearing assessments for children aged 6 months and above, as well as providing new paediatric hearing aid fittings and routine hearing aid reviews.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist on behavioural hearing assessment clinics for children aged 6 months and above
  • Provide new paediatric hearing aid fittings and routine hearing aid reviews
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to provide a high-quality service for children residing in South East London
About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that will allow you to grow and develop as a paediatric audiologist. You will have the opportunity to work with a large, friendly, multi-disciplinary paediatric audiology team and contribute to the development of our service.

Requirements
  • BSc degree in clinical audiology or equivalent qualification
  • MSc degree in clinical audiology or equivalent
  • Formal training in counselling in relation to childhood disability/hearing impairment
  • Professional Registration (AHCS/HCPC) or in process of registration with the Health Professions Council (Clinical Scientist or Hearing Aid Dispenser)
Working Arrangements

The majority of the clinical team work compressed hours (08:00-18:00) across 4 days, and typically the post holder would be based at St Thomas' 2-3 days a week and at a satellite clinic 1-2 days a week.
