As a Purchasing Specialist / Senior Procurement Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and nurturing relationships with suppliers while engaging in negotiations.
  • Negotiating shipping costs effectively.
  • Complying with all procurement protocols.
  • Managing demand forecasting reports.
  • Setting and revising safety stock levels based on demand.
  • Collaborating on LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
  • Addressing any supplier quality concerns with the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) team.
  • Ensuring supplier payment terms align with company standards.
  • Negotiating to secure the most favorable quotes.
  • Challenging or negotiating any proposed price increases from suppliers.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to guarantee timely and complete deliveries.
  • Generating supplier performance reports and categorizing them accordingly.
