Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Crime Escalations Quality Control Team Lead to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key member of our Financial Crime team, you will be responsible for leading a team of quality control analysts and ensuring the quality of escalated cases related to financial crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control Process Oversight: Direct oversight of the Financial Crime Escalations Quality Control process, ensuring all cases are reviewed in a timely manner and to the required standard.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage Quality Control pipeline of incoming cases, ensuring prioritization and timely resolution.
  • Team Supervision: Provide direct supervision and guidance to quality control analysts, adapting to both new team members and experienced analysts as needs are identified.
  • Performance Management: Manage performance of QC Analysts, provide clear performance targets, conduct performance reviews, and develop clear career and personal development plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and provide Subject Matter Expert support on key process and technology initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience working within a KYC/Financial Crime/Fraud role within Financial Services or Banking.
  • Pipeline Management: Experience in pipeline management with ability to prioritize work, create plans, and manage book of work to meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management and experienced in managing upward and a proven ability to identify, analyze, plan, prioritize, and solve problems.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills while working under pressure to fixed deadlines and demonstrate an independent decision-making ability, and strong analytical skills in order to relay clear and concise information to senior leaders.
  • Multitasking: Be a multitasker with the ability to prioritize - you can connect and maintain engagement with stakeholders, whilst remaining a constant support for your team.
  • Quality-Focused Work Ethic: Quality-focused work ethic with a strong controls mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience of working within a digital bank.
  • Quality Control Experience: Experience of working within a Quality Control/Quality Assurance role.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience including performance management and coaching.
  • Microsoft Office: Microsoft Office skills.
