This role involves working on a shift basis, alternating between morning shifts (Monday to Thursday, 6am to 6pm) and night shifts (Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 6am).
About the Company:
Our client is a privately owned enterprise dedicated to the formulation, production, and distribution of chemicals utilized in the oil and gas industry.
The company offers a competitive salary of £29,500, which includes a shift allowance, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that features 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme with a 9% company contribution, life insurance, private healthcare, an employee assistance program, and a discretionary bonus scheme.
Location:
This position will be located at the company’s facility, which is easily accessible by road from various surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will encompass:
- Conducting testing and sampling procedures
- Performing all in-house testing of raw materials
- Executing all in-house testing of finished products
- Documenting and reporting all test results
- Ensuring timely processing of sample requests, including transport arrangements and completion of necessary customs documentation
- Providing support for development projects as needed
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and reporting any maintenance issues to the Lab Manager
- Assisting the Lab Manager and Technical Team as required
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Chemistry or A-level Chemistry
- Prior experience in Quality Control or Testing Laboratory environments
