Network Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Network Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of the LAN, WAN, and Internet platforms. This includes ensuring that all services provided by the Network Team are operational and that all incidents are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders and IT teams to facilitate communication and education.
- Run weekly Network Team meetings and attend project progress meetings as required.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers and report on their performance to inform regular service reviews.
- Manage and maintain the network with direct reports to ensure maximum uptime for critical services.
- Monitor incidents escalated by the IT Service Desk and ensure they are resolved in accordance with priority and applicable SLAs.
- Prioritize day-to-day tasks for the IT Network Team and assign them to team members as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of network platforms, including Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 9k, Cisco 2960/3850, and HP Procurve series switches.
- Strong experience with firewalls, including Cisco ASA and Fortinet.
- Excellent understanding of wireless technologies, including Aruba.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience in presenting.
- Problem-solving and project management experience.
- Ability to lead and motivate a small team.
