Pulsar Process Measurement Test Engineer

Job Summary

The Test Engineer will be responsible for testing printed circuit boards and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications. This includes testing PCBs and complete assemblies to specifications, ensuring product handling and testing comply with company policies, and providing yield statistics to the Process Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test PCBs and complete assemblies to specifications
  • Ensure product handling and testing comply with company policies, including storage and anti-static precautions
  • Provide yield statistics to the Process Engineering department
  • Train other employees on testing techniques and methods
  • Recommend training to the Production Supervisor
  • Communicate testing issues to the Production Supervisor
Requirements
  • BTEC ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in electronics
  • Computer literate
  • Proven experience in electronic production and assembly
  • Able to identify electrical component types
  • Familiar with tools commonly used in electrical and electronic testing
  • Able to create and edit technical instructions
  • Soldering experience beneficial
Travel

Travel may be required for training and other business purposes.
