Private Equity Funds Director

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Funds Director to lead our Jersey Private Markets operations, accounting and reporting function for our growing private markets clients based in Jersey, Channel Islands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client deliverables, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring deadlines are met. They will also oversee the maintenance of client general ledgers and other records, review and prepare financial statements, and act as a daily point of contact for clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of client services.
- Oversee the maintenance of client general ledgers and other records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review and prepare financial statements, including NAV calculations, audited and unaudited financial statements, and partner capital statements.
- Act as a daily point of contact for clients, providing prompt and professional communication and support.
- Implement new processes and technology to support business growth and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
Your Experience
- Proven experience in private markets, fund administration, and accounting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of US GAAP/UK GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA or similar) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
