About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy delivery department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of drivers and pickers, ensuring they meet their daily targets and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the delivery department operates in compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a consistent approach with all team members.
Communicate important management information to relevant team members, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting any health and safety concerns to the store management team.
Drive brand image through knowledge of products, excellent customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
Support the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
Requirements
Experience in supervising a small to medium-sized team, preferably in a warehouse or transport environment.
Proven track record of working in a customer-focused environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
