Clinical Development Nurse

We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Nurse to drive clinical governance and quality of care for our residents in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. This role will oversee nursing homes in Brackley, Chipping Norton, Kettering, and Northampton.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced RGN with strong clinical practice and a passion for delivering high-quality care. As a Clinical Development Nurse, you'll review and support the performance of every home in your region to ensure they meet the highest clinical standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
• Developing and implementing practical strategies to meet regulatory requirements and improve care delivery
• Working closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions
• Organizing training, attracting senior clinical staff, and delivering clinical investigations

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A current NMC registration and RN (General) qualification
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Experience working in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor
• A strong understanding of current regulatory requirements
