We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript to join our Global Technology Services team. As a Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of our web applications, ensuring high-quality code, and guiding the technical direction of projects while managing a small team of Developers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture and development of web applications in collaboration with Technical Architects and Solution Engineers, utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, Headless/MACH architecture.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product owners, marketing specialists, and other developers, to define requirements and deliver innovative features.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain exceptional code quality, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with architectural guidelines.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending the adoption of new tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Possesses proven experience as a Development Manager or Senior Developer in web application development projects.
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems and best practices.
  • Has experience with modern web development technologies such as React, GraphQL, and Headless/MACH architecture.
  • Excels in communication and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Is capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is highly desirable.
