We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. As a key member of our cost consultancy services, you will work on a variety of construction projects, providing cost control advice to design teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely advice to clients and project teams on cost management and budgeting.
- Prepare and analyze budgets and cost plans, ensuring accurate data is available to support informed decisions.
- Manage costs effectively, identifying opportunities for savings and implementing cost control measures.
- Qualified as a Quantity Surveyor with 5 years post-grad experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of contractual elements allocated to you.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT Form of Contract.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly with colleagues and clients.
- Discretionary performance-based profit share.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, with additional shutdown at Christmas and New Year.
