About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Rheumatology and Chronic Pain to join our team at Evelina London Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with rheumatological conditions and chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for children with rheumatological conditions and chronic pain
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Teach and mentor junior medical staff and students
  • Participate in clinical governance and audit activities

Requirements
  • Eligible for full UK GMC registration and a License to Practice
  • On GMC Specialist Register for General Paediatrics or within six months of attaining CCT or equivalent
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • Comprehensive clinical experience in paediatric rheumatology
  • Experience of managing safeguarding cases
  • Experience in managing problems with chronic musculoskeletal pain
