About the Role

As a Senior Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on a wide range of private client matters, including estate planning, tax-efficient business structures, and wealth protection. You will work closely with the firm's business lawyers to provide a seamless service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on estate planning, including the preparation of complex wills and lifetime trusts
  • Manage multi-generational estate planning projects
  • Advise on tax-efficient business structures and wealth protection
  • Assist with pre-sale planning and estate administration
  • Prepare deeds of variation and lasting powers of attorney
  • Represent clients in court of protection and deputyship applications
  • Provide advice on will disputes and other private client matters

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Solicitor with 3-7 years post-qualification experience in private client work. You will have strong technical skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload. You will also possess a genuine desire to develop strong client relationships, a commercial mindset, and maintain the highest standards.
