About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Risk Manager to join our dynamic Supplier Assurance Team at Lloyds Bank plc.

The Supplier Assurance Team is a high-profile team within Group Sourcing and Supplier Management, responsible for providing assurance on LBG's highest risk suppliers. As a Cyber Security Risk Manager, you will be responsible for assessing and managing the cyber security risks associated with LBG's most critical suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing Supplier Cyber Security
    • Conduct thorough assessments of supplier's technical, operational, and management control effectiveness to ensure compliance with LBG's and regulatory standards.
  • Generating Exceptions and Reporting
    • Identify and generate exceptions, creating and articulating control weaknesses and/or gaps to support risk reporting through governance.
  • Subject Matter Expertise
    • Act as a subject matter expert across all aspects of information and cyber security, resilience, technology, data, and supply chain.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge
    • Utilize current market and industry connections and knowledge to enhance risk management at LBG, including the opportunity to specialize in emerging trends and risk and threat analysis.
  • Supplier Assurance Framework
    • Work across divisions to build and mature the supplier assurance framework, focusing on advances to the cyber security risk framework.
  • Risk Management
    • Proactively help LBG manage its current and future risk landscape.
Requirements
  • Experience and Certifications
    • Experience in the application and assurance of cyber security controls across all domains.
    • Hold or actively working towards relevant cyber security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Security Assessor (CISO), or ISO27001 Lead Auditor.
  • Education and Skills
    • Associate or bachelor's degree, ideally in a related field such as cybersecurity, information systems technology, or computer science.
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
    • Risk awareness of cyber security industry-related best practices.
    • Effective risk assessment, threat modeling, and risk mitigation strategist.
    • An in-depth understanding of risk and control management.
    • Strong communication skills with significant customer relationship management and influencing skills.
    • Experience in financial services.
    • ServiceNow experience.
