About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Pride Veterinary Referrals in Derby. As a Surgery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgical patients through their full workup, including imaging, laser therapy, wound management, and monitoring sedations and anaesthesia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support surgical patients through their full workup, including imaging, laser therapy, wound management, and monitoring sedations and anaesthesia
  • Work alongside our current surgery nurse and clinicians to provide high-quality care
  • Assist with client contact, including arranging appointments and admits/discharges
  • Liaise with referral reception to assist with emergency cases and filter through advice emails from referring vets and clients
