About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Surveyor and Project Manager to join our client's growing team in the renewable energy sector. As a Technical Surveyor and Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of solar PV projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys for potential solar PV projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports using web app platforms.
  • Coordinate and manage structural surveys.
  • Utilize laser survey devices and operate drones for photogrammetry to create 3D building models.
  • Perform surveys and functional testing of existing PV systems.
  • Issue NICEIC certificates when required.
  • Assist with project development and maintain communication with contractors.
  • Oversee project management of rooftop solar projects, including contractor performance and quality inspections.
  • Conduct safety audits and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with the Design Team to ensure survey data is accurately translated into high-quality designs.
  • Maintain meticulous document filing, ensuring version control and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Experience in surveying for commercial or industrial solar projects in the UK.
  • Competence in the design of LV systems.
  • Competence in the design of industrial LV systems, including metering and grid connections.
  • Ability to organize and manage large engineering design document sets.
