To bolster our project and programme management capabilities, Bailie Group is in search of a dedicated Project Manager to enhance our PMO.

Key Responsibilities
You will serve as the primary point of contact for the following:

  • Reporting directly to the PMO Manager, you will oversee:
  • The initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.
  • Developing and managing project timelines.
  • Coordinating project personnel, key stakeholders, and monitoring project utilization.
  • Resource planning and allocation.
  • Managing RAIDO (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, and Opportunities).
  • Overseeing project administration.
  • Tracking deliverables.
  • Ensuring adherence to budgetary goals and monitoring financial performance.
  • Managing project invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Reporting project metrics to the PMO and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Traveling to client sites as necessary.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a project/programme/portfolio management environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one 'Waterfall' project/programme/portfolio management framework/methodology.
  • Familiarity with and a strong understanding of Agile project management.
  • Formal training and/or certification in Project Management, such as Prince II, APM, or PMI.
  • Proficient in Office 365 applications, including:
  • MS Project.
  • MS Excel.
  • MS PowerPoint.
  • MS Word.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Capability to resolve conflicts when necessary.
  • A valid UK driving license.
