HGV Technician Position

Location: Paisley
Salary: £37,440 - £18ph
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday days (Flexible hours)

Our client is a well-established fleet maintenance organization with over 25 years of experience in the industry. They are currently seeking skilled HGV Technicians to contribute to their expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician
  • Deliver technical services to the highest standards while adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on a diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers, providing technical support from fault diagnosis to pre-MOT preparation and comprehensive vehicle overhauls.
  • Execute general HGV Technician duties as required.
Qualifications for the HGV Technician
  • Possession of an HGV licence Class 1 is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Must hold industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy service, maintenance, and repair.
  • In-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar HGV Technician role is required.
