The company is now looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer, who's position will be split around 70% project work and 30% escalations from the Service Desk.

Job Summary:

As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support and solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for resolving complex IT issues, maintaining and optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT environments. This role requires strong expertise in Azure, Office 365, and Networking, including routers, switches, and VLANs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd line support and troubleshooting for escalated IT issues.
  • Manage and maintain cloud environments, primarily within Microsoft Azure.
  • Administer and support Office 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
  • Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line support teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across all IT systems.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and solutions.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a 3rd Line Support Engineer role or similar.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including VM management, networking, and security.
  • Extensive experience with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified in any area
