Reed Accountancy is partnering with a reputable Law Firm to find an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team.

This is a full-time office-based position with parking provided on site. The firm offers a friendly working environment and a role reporting into the finance manager daily.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist staff with accounts queries and provide support to the finance team.
  • Process daily financial payments, receipts, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
  • Perform day-end balancing procedures and reconcile petty cash payments.
  • Process credit card payments, make bank and cheque payments, and deposit interest calculations.
  • Manage the purchase ledger, coding, input, and cheque production.
  • Process employees' expenses claims and invoices, checking completion statements.
  • Liaise with file handling departments regarding accounting transactions and ensure compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
  • Reconcile disbursement supplier statements as required and liaise with clients and debtors.

This role requires previous experience working as a Legal Cashier and a strong understanding of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules. If you have the necessary skills and experience, please follow the application process to be considered for this opportunity.
