As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining the testing and acceptance strategy for project/product development, supporting technical leads with requirements management, and working closely with project managers, clients, and external test facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define testing and acceptance strategy for project/product development, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 quality standards.
  • Support technical leads with requirements management, ensuring that project requirements are met.
  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and external test facilities to offer product development and improvement advice.
  • Perform hands-on analysis of system performance, including execution of field trials.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical experience in RF System or RF Product Engineering in a Defence/Aerospace organisation.
  • Solid knowledge of RF performance and general systems measurements, particularly in the microwave bands.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, including network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Experience of being the technical author for project requirements, test plans, and test reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of the Systems Engineering V-model, or CADMID acquisition cycle.
  • Solid skills in test and script development, including Python, Java, SCPI, etc.
  • Experience of managing sub-contract test facilities, particularly with testing to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160G.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
