Electronics Engineer - Dartford, London

Zoom Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join their team in Dartford, London. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and optimization of electronic systems in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Electronic Production Department.
  • Oversee the Surface Mount, Wave Solder, and Selective Solder Departments on a day-to-day basis with a focus on productivity and machine performance, identifying and resolving any issues, including liaising with equipment suppliers.
  • Carry out machine programming, produce operating procedures, maintain training records, and provide productivity reports.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor SPC data to identify trends so actions can be identified and carried out.
  • Create and update maintenance procedures to minimize machine downtime.
  • Develop machine operation procedures and work instructions.
  • Identify training requirements and carry out training within the Electronics Department.
  • Carry out any additional functions within the business as directed by the Production Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in electronics and previous experience in electronic manufacturing.
  • Strong background in electronics engineering and experience with production environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
