About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Family Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a leading law firm in Romford, we are committed to providing exceptional client service and expertise in family law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Complex Family Law Cases: Handle a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases.
  • Advise Clients on Family Law: Advise clients on all aspects of family law, offering tailored legal solutions.
  • Lead Complex Cases: Manage complex and high-net-worth cases, particularly in financial disputes and children matters.
  • Represent Clients in Court: Attend court hearings and represent clients effectively in family law proceedings.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Lead and Mentor Team Members: Lead, mentor, and supervise junior solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor: Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with at least 4 years PQE.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in managing a varied caseload of complex family law matters.
  • Financial Dispute Experience: Experience in handling financial disputes, including high-net-worth cases, is highly desirable.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
