FLT Driver Job Description

We are seeking an experienced FLT driver to join our client's rapidly growing printing factory. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for the safe movement of materials within the factory premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) for the efficient movement of materials.
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring all materials are handled with care.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, complying with company and safety regulations.
  • Assist with stock control and inventory management, keeping accurate records.
  • Support the production teams by ensuring timely availability of materials.
  • Perform routine safety checks on FLT equipment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
  • FLT License: Valid and in-date, preferably for counterbalance and reach trucks.
  • Driver's License: Full and clean UK driving license.
  • Proven experience as an FLT driver in a warehouse or factory setting, ideally within a printing or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
