We are seeking an experienced and skilled ICU Nurse to join our team at the Churchill Intensive Care Unit, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a post-registration qualification in Adult Intensive Care nursing and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a critical care setting. You will be a strong communicator, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic patient care, underpinned by the Trust's values and standards.
- Work collaboratively with the patient and their family to create a patient-centred care package, promoting active patient involvement.
- Maintain and develop high standards of nursing care, reflecting professional nursing practice.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner, being a role model to others, in line with The Code (NMC 2015).
- Assist in the strategic planning of the AICU service, participating in unit initiatives, completing necessary audits, and providing feedback.
- Provide leadership and supervision for junior team members and in the clinical area.
- Act as a professional representative for JR Critical Care at a local, national, and international level, if required.

- Band 6 experience in CC.
