Project Engineer – Trim Shop
Company Overview
The Recruitment Bunker is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a leading company in the specialist engineering design and development sector.
As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of Internal and external Trim Shop projects under the guidance of the Production Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company.
- Oversee project budgets and collaborate with senior management to ensure cost efficiency.
- Work in conjunction with senior management to produce accurate Trim Shop quotes following the correct ordering process.
- Produce accurate Bill of Materials for all trim shop projects.
- Liaise with Design, Development, and Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience in an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within interiors/exteriors or within a Project Support/Management role in a fast-paced, forward-thinking business.
- Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- Integrate departmental planning with other business units.
- Demonstrate good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism.
- Organized, methodical but flexible approach to workload.
Desirable Skills
- Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures.
- Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
