This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing financial planning firm in the Midlands as a Paraplanner. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing a full paraplanning function to one of the Senior Financial Advisors, ensuring client service and compliance are always delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Client File Management: Prepare and maintain client files and reviews, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
- Cash Flow Modelling: Build and maintain cash flow models to identify client financial planning needs and opportunities.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify suitable financial planning solutions for clients, including investment and protection products.
- Recommendations and Reports: Prepare and present recommendations and suitability reports to clients and Senior Financial Advisors.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients' legal and tax advisors to ensure seamless delivery of financial planning services.
- Implementation and Compliance: Oversee the implementation of recommendations, completion of application forms, and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- Client Meetings: Attend client meetings as required, providing expert advice and guidance on financial planning matters.
- Relationship Building: Establish and build strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their financial planning needs are met.
- Experience: You should have experience as a Paraplanner, with a strong understanding of financial planning principles and practices.
- Suitability Report Writing: You should have excellent suitability report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Cash Flow Modelling: Experience of using cash flow modelling software would be preferable, but not essential.
- Qualifications: Individuals holding a full Diploma or close to achieving this would be preferable.
- Personal Qualities: You must be enthusiastic about your profession, forward-thinking, and committed to doing the right thing for clients and colleagues.
