Exciting Opportunity for a Seasoned Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Dish Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting our Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences across our premium Hotel & Country Inn group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior chefs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £32,000, plus mileage allowance.
  • The opportunity to work in some of the region's finest kitchens, cooking up to a 2-rosette level.
  • A loyalty scheme, payable every 6 months.
  • The chance to develop your skills and experience, working alongside our talented Executive Chef.

Requirements:

  • A proven background in fresh food led kitchens, ideally to a Rosette standard.
  • Established experience as a Sous Chef, with a proven management history.
  • A passion for innovation and creativity, with a desire to develop new menu ideas.
  • A sound understanding of kitchen management, including inventory control and staff supervision.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
