About the Role:
As an English Language Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality English lessons and supporting students' academic progress at GSL Education's Girls Secondary School. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and Delivering Engaging English Lessons: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans to cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Assessing and Tracking Student Progress: Regularly assess student performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Supporting Students' Academic Goals: Collaborate with students to set and achieve academic objectives, fostering a sense of accomplishment and motivation.
- Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Creating a Positive Learning Environment: Establish a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages students to take risks, explore their creativity, and develop a love for learning.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Equivalent: Hold a recognized teaching qualification or equivalent experience in a secondary school setting.
- Experience Teaching English: Possess a strong background in teaching English, preferably in a secondary school context.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
