Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural steel systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural steel systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement structural steel design standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and assess structural steel systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a production environment
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as ABAQUS and S-Frame Foran
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
