Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal machinery performance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to swiftly address equipment failures and reduce production interruptions.
  • Perform repairs, including the replacement of defective components and calibration of machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Assist in the development and execution of maintenance schedules and planned shutdowns.
  • Identify and propose enhancements for processes and equipment, engaging in root cause analysis to drive innovative solutions.
  • Uphold rigorous safety and hygiene standards to foster a secure working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the food production or manufacturing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for effective maintenance documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and clear reporting on maintenance activities.
