Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be a seasoned Systems Modelling Engineer and an adept People Manager, tasked with steering the development and execution of system capabilities. Utilizing model-based systems engineering methodologies, you will refine designs to meet the performance standards required for missile seekers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct modelling using MATLAB and Simulink, applying model-based design strategies.
  • Manage a sophisticated Seeker model that simulates the RF environment, Seeker hardware, and processor algorithms.
  • Oversee task package management.
  • Develop algorithms within the modelling framework.
  • Generate and validate auto-code for software algorithms derived from the model.
  • Conduct system studies and performance evaluations.
  • Take ownership of processes and model deliverables.
  • Facilitate team growth in modelling techniques and algorithm development.
  • Evaluate system performance through models against established requirements.

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, along with experience in:

  • Modelling and coding, particularly with MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Verification & Validation, configuration management, and model release protocols.
  • Team leadership and personnel management.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Data analysis and technical documentation.

Additional advantageous experience includes:

  • Familiarity with RF systems and digital signal processing.
  • Expertise in algorithm development.
