About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a vital role in inspiring and nurturing young minds, fostering a love of language and culture within our vibrant learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning
- Possess and maintain a deep and secure knowledge of your subject and the best practice pedagogy associated with its delivery.
- Create a challenging and stimulating classroom climate that motivates pupils to learn, think independently, take risks, empathise with others, and perform to the best of their abilities.
- Support every pupil in their learning, making them feel included, secure and valued.
- Be consistent, fair and create an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
- Be aware of the learning needs of the pupils you teach and ensure that each pupil is given every opportunity to fulfil their potential.
- Monitor progress against prior attainment and employ effective intervention strategies when required.
- Follow the guidance and schemes of work provided by the Head of Department.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assessment and Feedback
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to track pupil progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to pupils, supporting their growth and development.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding pupil progress and concerns.
You will be a qualified teacher with a passion for teaching Spanish. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
