Job Overview

Position: Quality Assurance Officer

Objective and Scope: To uphold the integrity of products in accordance with established specifications while providing support to the Technical Team as necessary.

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with technical specifications, including random checks for weight and metal detection.


• Monitor hygiene standards throughout the production facility and take corrective actions when necessary.


• Ensure that all daily documentation within the factory is accurately completed, covering aspects such as weights, temperatures, cleaning logs, startup checks, metal detection, packaging traceability, sieving records, and other relevant quality system documentation.


• Verify the effectiveness of detergents and disinfectants, taking appropriate action based on findings.


• Perform calibration checks on temperature measuring devices and scales.


• Assist in the evaluation of incoming raw materials and packaging components.


• Support internal auditing processes as required.


• Maintain organized filing of daily records.


• Aid in the preparation of product labels.


• Collect samples for microbiological analysis and ensure all related documentation is completed.


• Collaborate with Food Technologists during the Technical Manager's absence to investigate customer feedback and technical concerns as needed.


• Provide assistance with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Technical Manager.
