Job Overview

ARM is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Nuclear sector. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving commercial excellence across contracts and projects, protecting our clients' interests, and providing guidance and advice to support tendering, negotiating, and placing subcontracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate pre-tender infrastructure estimates, including cost planning and modeling of design options, to support tender compilation.
  • Prepare cost inputs to monthly reports for clients and project management, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project procedures.
  • Review cost plans produced by subcontractors and develop agreed baseline budgets within the framework of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and in conjunction with relevant project staff.
  • Prepare forecasts of future costs, including subcontractor claim reviews, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • MCIOB, MRICS, or equivalent professional qualification preferred or working towards RICS chartership.
  • Demonstrable quantity surveying experience in a construction environment, with a strong understanding of NEC contracting principles.
