About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of various Design & Build projects across major capital investment programmes.

As a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver electrical designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Provide technical input to project managers and stakeholders, ensuring that electrical designs meet project requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and investigations to inform electrical design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer who is Chartered or Incorporated with the IMechE (or working toward Chartership). You will have a strong background in electrical design, ideally within the water industry, and experience in producing technical specifications, pump sizing, and hydraulic calculations.

You will be able to provide engineering input to collaborative design outputs, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be required to give technical presentations to clients and other design engineers.
