Procurement Specialist

Muller Dairy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Line Procurement Specialist Advisor to join our team based in Telford. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective execution of the Procure to Pay process, procurement master data management, and support of the Source to Contract process.

• Review and process 2nd Line transactions, ensuring timely and accurate execution of the Procure to Pay process.
• Liaise with requisitioners to resolve any issues and ensure that purchase requisitions are accurate and complete.
• Trigger 2nd Line purchase orders and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure that existing framework agreements and conditions are reflected in purchase requisitions.
• Act as a specialist and multiplier for requesters and suppliers, providing guidance on procurement processes and procedures.
• Conduct supplier negotiations and finalize contracts for Group Shared Services owned categories.
• Provide expert category and supply market knowledge for GSS owned categories.
• Facilitate the escalation of delivery-related issues and handle assigned invoice queries.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in operational and tactical procurement, with a focus on Source to Pay processes.
• Excellent knowledge of procurement IT applications, including SAP MM and Ariba.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver results and meet stakeholders' expectations.
