Join our team of subject matter experts as a Russian Examiner for GCE A Level. As a key member of our assessment team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Russian language expert to join our team of examiners. As a Russian Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to our conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Ensure all administration is completed as specified

Requirements

  • You will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • You will be a qualified teacher with a minimum of 5 months part-time teaching experience of the relevant qualification and subject within the last 10 years
  • You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme
