Blue Arrow is seeking a dedicated Facilities Operations Supervisor to oversee our client's facilities management services. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of various site services, including reception, catering, and domestic support.

Key Responsibilities:
The Facilities Operations Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Driving continuous enhancement and delivery of facilities services, evaluating performance against established KPIs and SLAs.
  • Coordinating audits that align with organizational standards to promote compliance and improvement.
  • Managing staff planning and development, while efficiently allocating work schedules across multiple locations.
  • Addressing service and organizational requirements, implementing contingency plans for unexpected challenges.
  • Serving as the primary contact for facility clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication for seamless service delivery.
  • Overseeing incoming service requests through the facilities management helpdesk, ensuring timely responses.
  • Planning and facilitating staff onboarding and training, including cross-functional service training.
  • Monitoring staff performance through audit processes to identify ongoing development and training needs.
  • Handling recruitment and retention efforts, along with daily line management responsibilities.
  • Identifying potential risks and ensuring compliance with COSHH assessments and safety protocols.
  • Assisting senior management in monitoring facilities service expenditures and proposing cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records for access control and cashless catering systems.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A HNC in Facilities Management or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
  • Certification or willingness to obtain Food Hygiene at SCQE Level 7.
  • Strong understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing services across multiple sites.
  • A background in leading and training teams effectively.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
