Job Title: Senior Production Planner

Job Summary:

  • Implement company Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) plans and activities as appropriate
  • Analyse weekly cost and delivery data to inform performance to plan and variances while creating and maintaining balanced schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Assess demand and capacity to inform resource solutions, and support the inputs into Integrated Business Plan (IBP) for the full 5-year window
  • Undertake scenario planning to support decision making on future plans
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs
  • Support engineering change and Make-vs-Buy opportunities, and the application of Life Cycle Management principles
  • Communicate customer demands to the relevant Supply Chain and Procurement teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production planning strategies to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective supply chain management
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain schedules to ensure efficient production
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of project planning principles and competence in demand and capacity planning techniques
  • Ability to engage, motivate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Proficient in the use of IT, especially the MS Office suite (particularly proficient in the use of MS Excel)
