Sales Director

This is a senior sales role reporting to the Directors with a brief to generate new business from existing clients and targeted new accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating new business from existing clients and targeted new accounts
- Producing quotes and proposals as part of the sales process
- Managing a sales team to achieve business growth
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales of product handling automation solutions or conveyor systems, and will be able to prepare quotes and proposals. A good technical background is also desirable.
The company is a small but well-established privately owned British manufacturer of bespoke automation solutions based around conveyors and product handling machinery selling into the food, personal care & can making markets with a blue chip client base and very high levels of both client retention and repeat business.
Average order value ranges between £200,000 and £600,000. The company is now looking to grow their business by recruiting an experienced Sales Manager to generate new business and then build a sales team aiming to double their T/O in the medium term.
This role would suit an ambitious person as success in this role will lead to recruiting and managing a sales team and to a board level role in the medium term.
