Position Overview

Origin Legal Ltd is seeking a full-time Corporate Solicitor who has recently qualified in the UK to become a vital member of our esteemed Commercial and Corporate Finance Business team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work opportunities, in accordance with the Firm's guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage in a variety of corporate and commercial activities, including but not limited to:

  • Facilitating share transactions, both sales and purchases;
  • Managing asset transactions;
  • Overseeing Management Buy Outs;
  • Advising on Employee Ownership Trusts;
  • Handling demergers;
  • Executing share reorganizations;
  • Drafting shareholder agreements;
  • Coordinating share buybacks;
  • Implementing employee share schemes;
  • Structuring joint ventures;
  • Formulating partnerships and LLPs;
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate governance;
  • Advising on directors' duties.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general corporate matters, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Key attributes include:

  • Ability to provide clear, high-quality legal advice;
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and team members;
  • Proficient drafting and negotiation capabilities;
  • A proactive approach to contributing to the firm's growth and team development.

Additionally, the candidate should be self-motivated, capable of offering concise commercial advice, and proficient in using case management systems.

Business Development

This role will also encompass marketing and business development responsibilities. The successful applicant must be adaptable, willing to work outside standard office hours, and comfortable participating in various marketing events and initiatives.
