Role Overview

THG Ingenuity has achieved significant sales growth over the past four years and has reached a pivotal point in its growth journey, looking to expand into new markets, particularly the US. With this clear vision in mind, the newly appointed B2B Head of Marketing will work closely with the Chief Brand & Marketing Officer to refine THG Ingenuity's brand and its constituent parts, with accountability for delivering a clear marketing strategy that supports the business' revenue generation via relevant marketing-generated leads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Own Clear B2B Marketing Strategies
    • Define and evolve our understanding of our ideal customer profiles for each solution, how this varies per market, and determines our messaging and brand position, supported by clear market research and marketing collateral.
    • Deliver and oversee clear campaign plans, leveraging the full brand funnel to deliver optimal levels of brand awareness, consideration, and conversion levels across our prospects.
    • Own the THG Ingenuity website strategy, its performance, and its role in lead conversion.
    • Maximize relevant marketing channels and content strategy, working with subject matter experts to deliver unique and insightful thought leadership in the market.
    • Appraise and optimize channel performance to ensure maximum results.
    • Manage budgets, ensuring costs are best allocated to achieve our KPIs.
    • Collaborate with the Sales & Client Success team to include relevant marketing activities in the sales cycle and reduce reliance on sales outbound, bolstering organic sales growth.
    • Establish and refine marketing processes to ensure lead capture and nurture is optimal and delivers the right level of collaboration across the business.
    • Deliver clear marketing reporting to determine the effectiveness of the function over time and how we continue to optimize to accelerate the team's contribution over time.
    Optimal Skills & Experience
    • Strong B2B marketing background, ideally within ecommerce or technology, with the ability to demonstrate marketing team contribution across relevant KPIs.
    • Experience in delivering marketing efforts in multiple markets, understanding the nuances of each, with North America experience ideal.
    • Experience in managing multiple solutions in a role, with the ability to deliver clear brand propositions and product marketing.
    • Clear blend of strategic, commercial, and operational skills.
    • Solid people management skills, with the ability to motivate direct teams towards a clear vision and translate this into meaningful objectives for each person.
    KPIs
    • Volume and relevancy of marketing-qualified leads.
    • Participation of marketing-generated revenue over time.
    • Marketing-influenced organic growth revenue across our existing client base.
    • Brand awareness and engagement in the market.
    • Brand credibility in the market over time, leveraging key partnerships and awards to deliver this.
