Premier Group Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to join our client's team. Our client operates in the manufacturing sector and requires a dedicated professional to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across their operations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and report findings to management
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for staff to promote a positive safety culture
- Collaborate with management to implement health and safety initiatives and maintain HSE records
- Promote a culture of safety and well-being across the organization
- Proven experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent in Health & Safety Management
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and accident investigations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety reporting tools
