FM Conway is currently in search of a Street Lighting Installation Operative to become a vital part of our Street Lighting division. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of skilled ground workers to execute electric street lighting installations across various prestigious projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to health and safety protocols, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Maintaining awareness of incident reporting, SWMP, and environmental strategies.
  • Interpreting scaled diagrams for basic electrical setups and detailed underground cabling plans.
  • Ensuring all site operations are conducted efficiently in terms of time and cost, with consistent communication with the supervisor.
  • Keeping accurate records of plant, vehicle, and materials to support the project timeline, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and fit for use.

Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the Street Lighting sector and demonstrate proficiency in CAT scanning, excavation, and reinstatement tasks. A minimum qualification of NRSWA Units 1 to 9 is essential. The role necessitates travel to various locations, thus a full UK driving license is required.
