Company Overview
LFUK Recruitment Services is currently looking for a skilled Manufacturing Operative to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Operative will play a crucial role within the Production Team, directly reporting to the Production Coordinator.

Main Responsibilities

The primary objective is to efficiently store, package, and dispatch products while adhering to customer specifications and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a self-managing team environment.


Key Duties
  • Manage inventory levels and order necessary supplies.
  • Perform safety and cleanliness tasks diligently.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Handle the loading and unloading of raw materials, including hazardous substances.

Operational Tasks
  • Prepare and fill chemicals into suitable packaging using both automated machinery and manual processes for specific orders.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensure the availability of appropriate packing materials.
  • Verify the weight of customer orders.
  • Utilize powered equipment for product dispatch.
  • Oversee the unloading of incoming goods.
  • Supervise the unloading of bulk chemical containers.
  • Accurately fulfill customer orders.
  • Perform quality checks at the end of the filling process.
  • Document production activities in the stock ledger.
  • Palletize and verify the weight of finished orders.
  • Complete necessary dispatch documentation.
  • Load the oxide oven as required.
  • Participate in cyclic processes when necessary.
  • Order materials based on cyclic requirements.
  • Execute process operations in accordance with company protocols, prioritizing health and safety at all times.
  • Monitor quality to ISO 9001 standards and report any defects to management to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Possession of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck license and a Pallet Truck license is preferred.

Work Schedule
Monday to Wednesday: 06:00 - 14:00
Thursday: 06:30 - 14:30
Fridays off, subject to change.

Compensation
£12.50 per hour, with an additional £71.22 per week shift allowance as applicable.
