Sourcing Supervisor

Sourcing Supervisor needed for a leading importer of Power Tools & Machinery.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in dealing with clients from the Far East, particularly China.

Responsible for the selection of innovative products for both wholesale and retail sectors.

• Authorize all inventory purchase orders and pricing strategies.
• Ensure comprehensive stock availability.
• Identify product lines and categories to enhance the overall product portfolio.
• Collaborate with the purchasing, testing, and marketing teams to ensure timely market introduction of products.
• Coordinate all new product testing and evaluations with the internal engineering team to comply with current standards.
• Review all incoming Quality Control reports, new product assessments, and warranty documentation to make informed company decisions.
• Collaborate with the team to determine which items will be phased out from the product range.
• Work alongside the marketing team to pinpoint products suitable for promotional initiatives.
• Oversee the transition of new products from importation through the engineering team and subsequent private label development with marketing.
• Establish pricing for all newly selected products in alignment with company margin objectives.
• Continuously assess the retail market to ensure competitiveness of current and new products.
• Select inbound shipping partners.
