As a vital member of our team at Bourton Hall LTD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our stunning venue, surrounded by picturesque gardens and historic architecture. This position combines responsibilities in both maintenance and event support, requiring a reliable and professional individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public spaces to enhance guest experiences.
- Assist housekeeping, bar, and event staff in setting up rooms and rearranging furniture as needed.
- Ensure guest safety by managing signage for wet floors or other hazards.
- Utilize physical strength and endurance to transport and handle large items effectively.
- Demonstrate good listening skills to anticipate and meet the needs of guests and event requirements.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests to foster a positive atmosphere.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including general DIY projects and repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities such as changing light bulbs, painting, and decorating.
- Carry out daily inspections of facilities, including gas and kerosene levels, drainage systems, and waste management.
- Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of hot tub facilities.
